Partner platform launched

Our client already has an established and successful B2C sales organisation with branches in prime city-centre locations, as well as a well-visited online shop. We have now added a digital B2B2C sales channel for the customers of renowned partner banks.

For this purpose, we first modernised the product together with our client – see article ‘Product & Service renewed’. At the same time, we developed a digital partner platform that can be integrated into the online offerings of banks and other financial service providers.

In this way, customers can obtain information about the product and service directly from their bank or asset manager’s online offering, switch seamlessly to our client’s digitally integrated partner platform and benefit from the advantageous conditions of the B2B2C partnership.

This creates a triple-win situation: The customers remain with their trusted partner and benefit from the partner’s purchasing advantages. The banks expand their product and service offerings with a market-leading specialist. Our client scales its reach to customers.

Alex Betz, ‘pioneer of digital sales’ (Fonds professionell), has been integrating partner platforms at banks and financial service providers since 2000. This was followed by innovative variants such as the first online direct subscription of regulated investment funds or personalised portals for international institutional and private real estate investors.

The newly launched Degussa partner platform has already got off to a very successful start and impressively demonstrates the high potential of a fully developed omni-channel strategy: In particular, medium-sized companies often do not yet exploit all sales channels and digital variants for marketing their products and services.
